اسلام دنیا کے بڑے مذاہب میں سے ایک ہے، جس کے ماننے والے تقریباً دو ارب سے زائد ہیں۔ مگر افسوس کی بات یہ ہے کہ اسلام کے بارے میں بہت سی غلط فہمیاں پائی جاتی ہیں۔ یہ صرف غیر مسلموں میں ہی نہیں بلکہ خود مسلمانوں میں بھی عام ہیں۔ ایسی غلط فہمیاں دین سے دوری اور شکوک و شبہات کا سبب بن سکتی ہیں۔

یہ وہ تصور ہے جو سب سے زیادہ دہرایا جاتا ہے اور سب سے زیادہ غلط سمجھا جاتا ہے۔
2. All Non-Muslims are Enemies | کیا تمام غیر مسلم دشمن ہیں؟
This belief has caused division and hatred—something Islam strictly forbids.
یہ غلط تصور نفرت اور تقسیم کا باعث بنتا ہے، حالانکہ اسلام اس کی سختی سے ممانعت کرتا ہے۔
3. If You Sin, You’re Not a Good Muslim | گناہ کرنے والا اچھا مسلمان نہیں ہو سکتا؟
Many Muslims feel hopeless because they commit sins, thinking they can never be close to Allah again.
بہت سے مسلمان گناہوں کی وجہ سے مایوس ہو جاتے ہیں، یہ سوچ کر کہ اللہ انہیں معاف نہیں کرے گا۔

Everyone sins. What matters is repentance (tawbah). Allah says in the Qur’an: “Despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins” (39:53). A good Muslim isn’t one who never sins, but one who always returns to Allah.

ہر انسان گناہ کرتا ہے۔ اصل چیز توبہ ہے۔ قرآن میں اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتے ہیں: "اللہ کی رحمت سے نا امید نہ ہو، بے شک وہ تمام گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے" (الزمر: 53)۔ اچھا مسلمان وہ ہے جو توبہ کرتا رہے، نہ کہ وہ جو کبھی گناہ نہ کرے۔
4. Islam Spread by the Sword | کیا اسلام تلوار سے پھیلا؟
This is a myth often used to portray Islam as violent.
یہ ایک مشہور الزام ہے جسے اسلام کو پرتشدد ثابت کرنے کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔
➡️ Reality (English):
Islam spread through character, trade, and truth—not violence. Indonesia, the country with the largest Muslim population today, was introduced to Islam through peaceful traders, not warriors.
➡️ حقیقت (Urdu):
اسلام اچھے اخلاق، سچائی، اور تجارت کے ذریعے پھیلا، نہ کہ تلوار کے زور سے۔ انڈونیشیا، جہاں آج سب سے زیادہ مسلمان ہیں، وہاں اسلام تاجروں کے ذریعے پہنچا، نہ کہ کسی جنگ کے ذریعے۔
5. Hijab is Only About Clothing | کیا حجاب صرف لباس کا نام ہے؟
This is a common reduction of a much deeper Islamic concept.
یہ ایک غلط فہمی ہے جو حجاب کے وسیع تصور کو صرف ظاہری لباس تک محدود کر دیتی ہے۔

Hijab is not just a headscarf. It includes modest behavior, respectful speech, lowering the gaze, and avoiding arrogance. It applies to both men and women.
➡️ حقیقت (Urdu):
حجاب صرف دوپٹہ یا اسکارف کا نام نہیں۔ اس میں نرمی، حیاداری، نظریں نیچی رکھنا، اور عاجزی شامل ہے۔ حجاب صرف عورتوں کے لیے نہیں بلکہ مردوں کے لیے بھی ہے۔
